About Me
My name is Olena Hordina — I am a professional food photographer based in Valencia, Spain.
My journey in food photography began in the Czech Republic, where I worked on both commercial and creative projects. Today, I collaborate with restaurants, chefs, and food brands across Spain, creating visual content that supports business goals and drives results.
I help restaurants, chefs, and food brands attract guests, increase engagement, and strengthen their visual brand through professional food photography.
My role is to support restaurants and food brands in solving marketing and sales challenges through visual content that reinforces positioning, highlights the level of the cuisine, and builds trust with guests and partners.
I create clean, natural, and atmospheric visuals tailored to real business needs — menus, websites, social media, and advertising materials. In my work, I pay close attention to composition, lighting, and visual consistency across all platforms.
I have trained with leading food photography mentors, including certification from Sladnev Academy, and my work has been recognized in international competitions.
In every project, I value trust, collaboration, and a clear understanding of the brand’s vision.
How I Work
My work is not limited to taking photographs.
Each project is a structured visual process designed to deliver a consistent, professional result that supports real business needs.
Minimum Booking
On-location shooting — minimum 2 hours
This minimum time is required to properly prepare the setup, lighting, and composition, ensuring a high-quality and controlled visual outcome.
What Is Included in My Working Time
My working hours on location include the full production process:
lighting setup and adjustments
composition and frame building
styling, table setting, and prop selection
attention to visual details and balance
guidance for people in the frame (clothing, posture, overall appearance, including hands and small details)
the shooting process itself
setup breakdown and prop collection after the shoot
This approach allows the shoot to run smoothly and ensures visual consistency across all images.
Post-Production
RAW processing and color correction are included in the shooting rate
Retouching is calculated separately
Images are not delivered without retouching
Retouching includes detail refinement, clean-up, and texture enhancement while maintaining a natural, realistic look.
Delivery Time
Delivery time depends on the number of final images selected.
On average:
3–7 business days after image selection and confirmation.
