About Me
My name is Olena Hordina — I am a professional food photographer from Ukraine, currently based in Valencia, Spain.
My journey in food photography began in 2023 in the Czech Republic, where I worked on both commercial and creative projects.
Today, I collaborate with restaurants, chefs, and food brands across Europe, creating visual content that supports business goals and drives real results.
I help restaurants, chefs, and food brands attract guests, increase engagement, and strengthen their market presence through professional photography.
My mission is to support food businesses in solving marketing and sales challenges through high-end visuals that reinforce brand positioning, highlight the level of the cuisine, and build trust with both guests and partners.
I create clean, natural, and atmospheric imagery tailored to specific business needs — menus, websites, social media, and advertising materials. In my work, I pay close attention to advanced composition, professional lighting setups, and visual consistency across all platforms.
I have trained with leading mentors in the food photography industry, including certification from Sladnev Academy, and my work has been recognized in international competitions. In every project, I deeply value trust, seamless collaboration, and a clear understanding of the brand’s unique vision.
How I Work
Workflow & Terms
My work goes beyond simply taking photos. Each project is a structured visual process designed to deliver consistent, professional results that meet real business needs.
Minimum Booking
On-location session: 2 hours minimum for sessions outside the studio.
Initial investment: From 300€ per session (includes 2 hours of production at 150€/hour).
This minimum duration ensures proper setup, lighting, and composition, guaranteeing a high-quality and controlled visual outcome.
What is Included in My Work (Production Time)
My time on-site covers the complete production cycle to ensure visual consistency across all images:
Creative direction and professional lighting setups.
Advanced composition and framing.
Basic food styling, table setting, and prop arrangement.
Meticulous attention to visual details and balance.
Guidance for people in the frame (clothing, posture, and hand placement).
The photoshoot itself.
Equipment pack-down and prop cleanup after the session.
Post-Production & Delivery
All-Inclusive Processing: Professional retouching (color, exposure, and sharpness) is fully included in the service rate.
Selection: Delivery of high-resolution, professionally edited photos.
Final Images: To maintain the highest standards of quality, unedited raw files are not provided. Retouching ensures refined details and enhanced textures while maintaining a natural, realistic look.
Private Access: All final images are delivered via a secure, private online gallery.
Delivery Time
The delivery timeframe depends on the volume of selected images.
Average delivery time: 3–14 business days after the final image selection.
