About Me
My name is Olena Hordina — I am a professional food photographer based in Valencia, Spain.
My journey in food photography began in the Czech Republic, where I worked on both commercial and creative projects. Today, I collaborate with restaurants, chefs, and food brands across Spain, creating visual content that supports business goals and drives results.
I help restaurants, chefs, and food brands attract guests, increase engagement, and strengthen their visual brand through professional food photography.
My role is to support restaurants and food brands in solving marketing and sales challenges through visual content that reinforces positioning, highlights the level of the cuisine, and builds trust with guests and partners.
I create clean, natural, and atmospheric visuals tailored to real business needs — menus, websites, social media, and advertising materials. In my work, I pay close attention to composition, lighting, and visual consistency across all platforms.
I have trained with leading food photography mentors, including certification from Sladnev Academy, and my work has been recognized in international competitions.
In every project, I value trust, collaboration, and a clear understanding of the brand’s vision.
How I Work
Work Process & Terms
My work goes beyond simply taking pictures. Each project is a structured visual process designed to deliver consistent, professional results that meet real business needs.
Minimum Booking
On-location shooting: Minimum 2 hours.
Starting Investment: From €300 per session (includes 2 hours of production).
This minimum time ensures proper setup, lighting, and composition, providing a high-quality and controlled visual outcome.
What is Included in My Production Time
My time on-site covers the complete production cycle to ensure visual consistency across all images:
Lighting setup and professional adjustments.
Composition planning and framing.
Styling, table setting, and prop selection.
Meticulous attention to visual details and balance.
Direction for people in the frame (clothing, posture, and hand placement).
The shooting process itself.
Equipment teardown and prop collection after the session.
Post-Production
Color Correction: Professional RAW processing and color grading are included in the base rate.
Retouching: Calculated separately (from €5–€10 per image depending on complexity).
Final Images: To maintain the highest quality standards, images are not provided without professional retouching.
Retouching involves refining details and enhancing textures while maintaining a natural, realistic appearance.
Turnaround Time
Delivery time depends on the volume of selected images.
Average delivery: 3 – 14 business days after final image selection.
